The purple ElePHPant is coming, get yours and help PHPWomen in our mission to support women and others in the PHP community!
We've made the decision to build our website using Symfony Framework 2, making it easier for anyone to join the project. With new features planned, the site will help PHPWomen connect and collaborate with the community around the world.

For 2014 we're looking to bring new education initiatives to the community.
By standing on the shoulders of the amazing RailsBridge efforts, we're working to bring our very own БЂњPHPBridgeБЂ« to fruition this year, starting with introductory material and moving on from there.
This year we are participating in numerous conferences and user groups, both in Europe and the US. As part of this, we hope to help more women to attend and speak.
We are actively looking for sponsors to aid us in these goals. If you run a conference or user group and would like to collaborate, please let us know.
We are excited to announce that starting in 2014, Davey Shafik will lead our US chapter, allowing PHPWomen to be more active globally.
Working together with the crew in Europe, he will be helping with our education and events initiatives.
PHPWomen exists for its members, and we are always open to new ideas and suggestions.
If you, your company, your conference or user group would like to help us with any of these initiatives, or have ideas you would like to discuss with us, please get in touch.
