 Every time you use Internet to browse, to e-mail, to ICQ & FTP the following information about you is available:
 your IP address;
your domain name.
These tracks remain on the sites you visit.
By sending a simple inquiry to Internet registries every one curious can find out:
geographic location of your or your company Internet Services Provider (ISP);
your domain registration details including name and address of the owner;
the name and address of the computer through which you send and retrieve your mail.
This information is sufficient to find out your address, phone number and other personal details.

Who and how could spy on you?
Most of the Internet traffic is not encrypted, because a great majority of Internet services do not use encryption for data transfer.
It means that anybody interested standing in between a sender and receiver can intercept the information easily. Who could be interested to do so? Most probably someone close to you, someone who knows you and wishing to know more about you. For instance, your colleague sitting next to you and connected to the same LAN you are connected. It can be your company or your ISP technical staff. Snooping or content filtering is a part of state policy in many countries. Our site is officially blocked from viewing in some Arab countries, for example.
