Dead Island : The horror RPG has shambled top games chart
Through the years, the game titles industry has been doing zombies to dying. So any new game that promises a brand new take on the party’s theme from the shuffling undead needs to be welcome.
Dead Island‘s approach would be to turn a spook pests into an action-RPG, along similar lines to Fallout 3. Set about the imaginary off-shore Island of Banoi, it starts the morning following a heavy party in a formerly idyllic resort hotel, with shocked children understanding the huge most of their peers happen to be zombified overnight.
To date, so survival-horror: the overall game genre most symbolic of zombies. But while you gather having a small, motley band inside a beach hut, you soon understand it’s first-concepts stuff: you have to go to whichever involves hands – oars, planks of wood, baseball bats and so forth – to conquer from the putrefying horde.
